Business Intelligence Analyst IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate organizational decision-making by conducting complex analyses, generating reports, researching, and effectively utilizing data from information systems.

• Recognize and analyze trends and patterns within datasets.

• Address complex challenges using professional concepts aligned with company objectives.

• Execute both quantitative and qualitative data analyses utilizing SQL, dashboards, and Google spreadsheets.

• Collaborate across departments to comprehend data visualization requirements related to customer feedback.

• Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans informed by business data and market insights.

• Partner with client stakeholders to enhance, automate, and synchronize data with existing client processes.

• Create report and analysis specifications tailored to business needs and available data elements.

• Generate datasets and reports using system reporting tools.

• Consult with users and steer cross-functional teams to resolve business challenges.

• Formulate methodologies for the Business Intelligence team employing various software applications and data sources.

• Design tools and enhancements for systems; troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

• Identify, document, and initiate resolutions for data quality concerns.

• Lead and mentor team members.

• Establish internal best practices.

• Provide essential data for critical decision-making.

• Monitor industry trends and suggest best practices and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Perform additional duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university, along with 8+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated success in analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive key recommendations.

• Proficient in managing large datasets across diverse systems.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly visualize and communicate data and insights.

• Strong programming skills in SQL, PL-SQL, and TSQL.

• Exceptional report writing capabilities.

• Strong querying skills.

• Familiarity with Tableau, Hadoop, BigQuery system management, SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications.

• Capability to read and generate technical documentation.

• High critical thinking and reasoning skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Skill in initiating, leading, and assessing the implementation of functional programs across major business sectors.

• Ability to serve as a specialized knowledge resource in established processes.

• Competence in executing more complex general activities.

• Ability to perform office-related tasks, navigate within an office environment, utilize a computer, and communicate effectively.
