This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and sustain data and analytical solutions that transform data into actionable insights.
• Utilize Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and other tools to develop applications and data models tailored for reporting requirements.
• Craft reporting application scripts that pull data from diverse sources.
• Recognize inter-departmental dependencies and the downstream effects of modifications within reporting applications.
• Identify and propose alternative data solutions when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with users to enhance BI applications, validate their effectiveness, and perform user testing.
• Adjust to evolving reporting demands and new BI tools.
• Facilitate continuous data validation to guarantee data integrity and reliability.
• Work alongside team members to provide impactful solutions.
• Establish collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT departments.
• Investigate, propose, and participate in brainstorming sessions for development initiatives.
• Detect and offer insights into optimizing analytics processes and exploring improvement opportunities.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• BA/BS degree with a concentration in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
• A minimum of 1 year in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence is preferred.
• Proficiency with BI tools, including Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power B.I., or other Business Intelligence software and/or data visualization applications is mandatory.
• Familiarity with additional analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R is preferred.
• Understanding of essential data sources and database architectures.
• Technical skills encompassing knowledge of programming languages like SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
