Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain essential reporting suites and dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Engage in analytical projects from start to finish, assisting in scoping the approach, examining data, and formulating actionable recommendations for the business.

• Collaborate with your manager and departmental leaders to identify the company's most pressing questions, produce actionable insights, and convert vague challenges into a clear strategy.

• Create and enhance models that reveal the factors influencing a team's performance, enabling teams to plan with assurance.

• Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses as new inquiries emerge and proactively identify opportunities for growth or enhancement.

• Partner with Data and Analytics Engineers to ensure that the correct data is delivered accurately to the appropriate locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in strategy, analytics, or related quantitative disciplines; prior consulting experience is advantageous.

• Proficient in utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to aid in analysis.

• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python; experience with Databricks is a plus.

• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, with the capability to craft compelling narratives from data.

• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to address data or analytical challenges.

• Skill in constructing analytical narratives, utilizing data and visualizations to generate significant insights that prompt action.

• Capacity to manage multiple cross-functional projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
