Business Domain Owner – Product Planning and Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the functional advancement of the Product Planning and Management sector

• Serve as the primary liaison between the business and IT

• Organize requirements and set clear priorities

• Evaluate business needs and create actionable strategies

• Oversee planning and business growth within the domain

• Collaborate closely with the technical counterpart (DDO) to enhance the product life cycle

• Manage and prioritize initiatives and epics in the backlog

• Align business needs with digital projects

• Analyze KPIs and facilitate data-driven decision-making

• Act as an intermediary between various teams and departments

⛳️ Requirements

• Strategic mindset with the ability to link short-term actions to long-term objectives

• Knowledge of digital business models and methods to further their development

• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for stakeholder management

• Ability to articulate complex topics clearly and bridge the gap between business and technology

• Familiarity with agile and traditional project management practices, including Scrum and ITIL

• Adaptability in fast-paced environments

• Experience with prioritization techniques such as WSJF, RICE, or MoSCoW

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in product or project management

• Proficient in Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence

• Willingness to occasionally travel for in-person meetings in Berlin

• Experience in cross-functional team settings

• Enthusiasm for new digital technologies and innovative solutions
