Business Domain Owner – Educational Products, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the strategic direction of the Product Planning and Management business domain in alignment with the company's goals.

• Evaluate business requirements, identify opportunities, and formulate actionable strategies and digital solutions.

• Assume responsibility for planning, managing, and developing the domain in a professional manner.

• Integrate business, technology, instructional design, and user needs effectively.

• Assess business and product processes, identify opportunities for digitalization, and assist in the implementation of sustainable solutions.

• Prioritize initiatives, epics, and requirements to ensure effective value-driven backlog management.

• Analyze relevant KPIs, provide actionable recommendations, and foster data-driven decision-making.

• Enhance cross-functional collaboration, create transparency, and connect stakeholders, including Business and Digital Domain Owners.

• Collaborate with other Business Domain Owners and Technical Domain Owners to further develop the digital education ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in business administration, business informatics, education management, digital business, or a related field; or an equivalent qualification paired with relevant professional experience.

• Several years of experience in managing complex business requirements and developing digital products, processes, or platforms.

• Strong grasp of collaboration between business and IT functions.

• Experience in prioritizing requirements, managing stakeholders, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.

• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in working with KPIs and data-driven decision-making frameworks.

• Outstanding communication and facilitation abilities, with a passion for cross-functional collaboration.

• A keen interest in digitalization, innovation, and the ongoing development of modern educational offerings.

• Experience in transformation or change projects with a digital emphasis.

• Enthusiasm for AI-powered solutions and their application in enhancing business and educational processes.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to participate in occasional in-person meetings and workshops in Berlin.
