This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of automotive OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts.
• Formulate and implement strategic account growth strategies aligned with customer programs and product introductions.
• Foster and sustain relationships with stakeholders in engineering, purchasing, quality, operations, and program management.
• Discover new opportunities for adhesive tape and bonding solutions within both current and potential accounts.
• Manage opportunities from initial concept through testing, validation, specification, and commercial launch.
• Offer technical advice based on customer application needs.
• Organize customer trials, sample requests, testing activities, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, product development, operations, and commercial teams.
• Assist in strategic partnerships and collaborative customer development initiatives.
• Maintain precise CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
• Represent the ATP Adhesive Group at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
• Promote growth in the automotive sector through strategic account management, business development, and technical consultation.
• Travel across North America to enhance customer relationships, support business development initiatives, oversee project launches, and participate in industry events.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 5 years of technical sales experience in adhesives, tapes, films, engineered materials, or related fields.
• Experience in the automotive industry is mandatory.
• Familiarity with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers is essential.
• Strong technical capability with the ability to convert customer requirements into effective adhesive solutions.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Preferred experience with pressure-sensitive adhesives, industrial tapes, or bonding technologies.
• Preferred knowledge of automotive launch processes and specification-driven sales.
• Preferred experience collaborating with engineering and product development teams.
• Preferred understanding of customer testing, validation, and qualification processes.
• Preferred experience in supporting strategic partnerships and joint selling efforts.
• Ability to accommodate occasional international travel.
• Relationship-oriented and customer-centric.
• Comfortable interacting with engineers and technical teams.
• Strong skills in business development and account management.
