This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Drive sales growth and enhance market share within the designated vendor or partner technology practice area.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and sales leadership to identify sales prospects through reviews of the book of business.
• Develop targeted accounts, including those that are under-served or inactive/declining.
• Engage in customer conversations to pinpoint, nurture, and finalize sales opportunities.
• Work alongside vendor or partner teams to focus on specific accounts.
• Oversee deal registrations and manage the pipeline of open opportunities.
• Propel vendor or partner promotions and programs in conjunction with sales teams.
• Partner on business development and communication efforts with sales teams.
• Strategize with sales management on methods to expand the business segment.
• Keep Account Managers and sales management informed about the progress of plans and strategies.
• Attend industry and manufacturer training sessions.
• Obtain vendor certifications.
• Assist in the design and delivery of technical training for sales organizations.
• Mentor Account Managers on technologies relevant to the practice area.
• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Ensure that departmental processes adhere to relevant Sarbanes-Oxley controls where applicable.
• Proven ability to proactively enhance sales within a funded vendor or partner’s technology practice area.
• Capability to work directly with Account Managers and sales management teams.
• Familiarity with a specific technology practice area, such as Networking, Workforce Optimization, Systems, or Software.
• Willingness to participate in relevant industry and manufacturer training.
• Proven ability to achieve and uphold vendor certifications.
• Capability to assist in the development and presentation of technical training.
• Ability to coach Account Managers on technologies related to the practice area.
• Competence to work with minimal supervision and escalate significant problems or issues as needed.
• Understanding of relevant Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
