Business Development Regional Lead, AMS

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and execute the AMS Microsoft business strategy in alignment with HPE Compute, Hybrid Cloud, and Worldwide Microsoft Alliance goals.

• Convert global Azure Local and Microsoft go-to-market initiatives into regional implementation plans and geo-specific actions.

• Conduct quarterly and annual performance assessments across AMS regions.

• Lead the regional pipeline strategy and implementation for Azure Local, Windows Server, and associated Microsoft solutions.

• Track pipeline health, forecast precision, opportunity advancement, and revenue achievement.

• Initiate corrective measures to address performance deficiencies, coverage challenges, and execution risks.

• Assist with strategic opportunities and escalations for executive-level deals.

• Manage interactions with distributors, strategic partners, and Microsoft ecosystem collaborators.

• Drive the recruitment, activation, and performance enhancement of Elite and strategic partners.

• Oversee coordination among geo BDMs, solution specialists, sales, channel, marketing, product management, and Microsoft field teams.

• Facilitate executive evaluations, QBRs, pipeline assessments, governance meetings, and operational milestones.

• Manage regional scorecard activities, KPI reporting, and executive business evaluations.

• Ensure prompt, high-quality geo-specific reporting and business insights.

• Evaluate regional resource allocation and suggest organizational adjustments to enhance performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading Microsoft business development across the Americas (AMS).

• Familiarity with Azure Local, Windows Server, and related Microsoft offerings.

• Experience in creating and executing regional business strategies and go-to-market plans.

• Skilled in managing pipeline strategies, forecasting, opportunity advancement, and revenue generation.

• Background in cultivating distributor, strategic partner, and Microsoft ecosystem relationships.

• Experience with partner programs, incentives, workshops, and field enablement processes.

• Familiarity with MDF, JMA, POC funding, and partner acceleration initiatives.

• Experience coordinating efforts among sales, channel, marketing, product management, solution experts, and Microsoft field teams.

• Skilled in scorecard management, KPI reporting, executive business reviews, QBRs, and governance meetings.

• Ability to handle pricing, funding, reporting, technical resource, and operational execution challenges.
