This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets established for the territory.
• Employ a structured consultative selling strategy to identify and fulfill customer needs.
• Adhere to the territory call cycle by conducting a minimum of 6 customer meetings each workday.
• Address customer inquiries received via phone and email within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Create and maintain detailed customer profiles.
• Develop and implement call cycle strategies to expand territory business.
• Prepare and deliver business plans for accounts, focusing on the top 25 customers and quarterly growth objectives.
• Cultivate new business opportunities within the designated geographic area.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge regarding CooperVision products and those of competitors.
• Stay informed on industry trends and Health Product Research data.
• Integrate and provide training for customer offices on CooperVision technologies and value-added services.
• Design customer marketing strategies and promotions, while assessing their return on investment.
• Utilize the CRM system and daily reports to evaluate product performance, account sales, and territory expansion.
• Attend provincial and regional optical exhibitions as required.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Travel autonomously within the territory and outside it for conferences, training sessions, and regional meetings.
• Capacity to work autonomously as a proactive self-starter.
• Maintain a positive and constructive mindset.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities.
• Ability to foresee, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer requirements.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving work settings and diverse daily challenges, individuals, and groups.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in assessing, evaluating, and synthesizing information to make informed decisions.
• Capability to present to groups of varying sizes.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and French.
• At least 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the optical sector or a related medical/technical healthcare field.
• Preferable experience in tangible product sales.
• Familiarity with the optical industry is advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, candidates with relevant sales experience and a proven record of success will also be considered.
• Significant travel within the territory is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel outside the territory for conferences, training sessions, and regional meetings (10–15%).
• Standard Home Office Environment.
