This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Drive the growth and long-term retention of Asset Optimization service agreements.
• Supervise existing service agreements to ensure customer satisfaction, operational continuity, and contract performance.
• Lead the cross-functional execution and management of internal project requirements related to agreements.
• Expand current accounts and identify new commercial opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with project developers, asset owners, financiers, and investors.
• Develop business cases and commercial proposals that balance short-term revenue with long-term strategic and financial objectives.
• Enhance brand visibility and thought leadership through speaking engagements, webinars, industry articles, and trade shows.
• Lead commercial responses for RFPs, bilateral opportunities, and internal development submissions.
• Direct contract negotiations and guide deals through governance and approval processes.
• Manage key client relationships and map customer organizations, incentives, and decision-making frameworks.
• Identify customer and project challenges and escalate critical issues as necessary.
• Collect and synthesize market insights and competitive intelligence.
• Maintain reporting on pipeline activity and the health of key accounts.
• Stay informed about company capabilities, market positioning, and corporate values.
• Manage external resource budgets that support O&M Business Development initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of business development experience specifically in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar) or O&M Services.
• 3+ years of direct B2B sales experience with a proven history of managing long sales cycles, prospecting, and closing contracts.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Hands-on experience in drafting preliminary contract terms and overseeing detailed RFP/RFQ submissions.
• Capacity to build trust and foster engagement throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Ability to balance collaborative relationship-building with independent judgment and transparent decision-making.
• High ownership mindset driven by business metrics, performance targets, and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
• French or Spanish language skills are a plus.
