This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
• Promote and sell Eurofins Discovery’s chemistry and pharmacology products and services within the designated territory or region to meet sales objectives.
• Grasp the drug discovery process and market the portfolio to the U.S. clientele.
• Identify potential clients in need of drug discovery services or products.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships through collaborative methods, including regular in-person meetings.
• Offer insights and suggestions for operational strategies to fulfill client needs.
• Create, document, and consistently update territory and regional business plans.
• Report on competitor activities and submit monthly reports based on established metrics.
• Utilize and manage the company CRM effectively.
• Foster collaborative relationships with senior leadership across Eurofins Discovery.
• Leverage Eurofins Discovery resources to meet sales goals.
• Maintain technical expertise and application knowledge in chemistry services related to drug discovery and development.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, including 24-hour response times to inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on territorial and regional strategies.
• Utilize various sales and marketing channels such as websites, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, webinars, trade shows, and client site events.
• Deliver impactful presentations to clients and internal teams.
• Provide insights and analysis to enhance, modify, or expand portfolio and marketing strategies.
• Travel approximately 30–40% of the time, primarily within the assigned territory.
• Complete expense reports in accordance with company policy.
• Assist sales colleagues as necessary and perform other assigned tasks.
• Over 3 years of experience in sales.
• Strong comprehension of drug discovery, particularly in discovery chemistry.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• A minimum of a B.S. degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Experience with drug discovery products and services.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process.
• Familiarity with or prior experience in the CRO market.
• Proven capability to analyze and respond to global business trends to propel regional business development initiatives.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Collaborative mindset to engage with various internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis for training and customer audits.
