
Business Development Manager – Direct Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of the entire new-business cycle for partnerships, which includes identifying, pitching, negotiating, and finalizing deals.
• Reconnect with churned or inactive partners and create commercial strategies to win them back.
• Identify and develop innovative partnership formats, such as JobLeads widgets on partner websites and CPL/CPA agreements.
• Serve as the commercial liaison between partners and JobLeads.
• Work in collaboration with Partnership Management and the Product Manager, Partnerships on non-standard structures, monetization strategies, and product features.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing models including CPC, CPL, CPA, co-registration, and hybrid arrangements.
• Represent JobLeads at industry events and conferences.
• Establish a long-term network of potential partners.
• Monitor and report on pipeline, conversion, and partner performance against growth targets such as active partners, contract volume, and ROI.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development.
• Ideally, experience in affiliate or performance marketing, ad tech, HR tech, job boards, or online marketplaces.
• Proven track record in the relevant field.
• A genuine sales mentality, with comfort in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
• Persistence in overcoming objections and cultivating prospective partner relationships.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and commercial insight.
• Proficient in structuring and defending CPC, CPL, CPA, and hybrid deals.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product or technology teams.
• A self-starter who can build and manage a pipeline with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of creating new partnership playbooks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• An existing network among job boards, career platforms, content publishers, or similar digital media partners is a plus.
• Familiarity with partner tracking, feeds, or click-management platforms such as Appcast/Clickcast is an advantage.
• Understanding of the subscription economy and user engagement metrics is beneficial.
• Experience in a startup or rapidly-growing tech environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
