This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Act as the main representative at OEMs, driving new business opportunities.
• Arrange meetings with engineers to discuss design aspects.
• Organize production line tours at manufacturing sites.
• Offer value-added solutions aimed at lowering total assembly expenses.
• Spend roughly 75% of working time visiting customers and prospects within the Data Center Market.
• Leverage market intelligence and perform market research to identify potential clients and comprehend their requirements.
• Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential customers.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and targets.
• Evaluate sales opportunities and present appropriate products and services.
• Articulate the value propositions provided by the business.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, and operations teams.
• Analyze competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients.
• Monitor and assess sales performance metrics.
• Provide reports and updates to senior management.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Established experience in B2B sales, distribution, and collaboration with OEMs.
• Familiarity with the Data Center market is a plus.
• Strong understanding of sales and marketing fundamentals.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on results.
• Technical product affinity is essential.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to build and sustain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Proficient in CRM software, ideally SalesForce, and other sales tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time to meet customers and prospects.
