This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the hyperscaler and colocation sectors.
• Evaluate competitor actions and market conditions to guide business strategies.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscaler and colocation organizations.
• Comprehend client needs, challenges, and strategic goals to customize solutions and proposals.
• Assist with the needs and initiatives of existing customers as required.
• Discover and assess new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling value propositions and solutions.
• Prepare and deliver business proposals, covering pricing strategies, service offerings, and value propositions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to finalize deals and guarantee client satisfaction.
• Support the sales pipeline by tracking progress and forecasting revenue.
• Ensure prompt follow-up and closure of deals.
• Work alongside technical, product, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
• Provide insights on market trends and customer requirements to guide product development and strategy.
• Generate regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
• Assess performance metrics to identify improvement areas and refine strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the technology, data center, or colocation sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully close deals and drive revenue growth.
• Willingness to travel 30%-50% of the time based on business requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret market data and trends.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• In-depth understanding of the hyperscaler and colocation markets.
• Familiarity with data center operations, infrastructure, and technology.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, if applicable.
