This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Formulate and implement strategic business development strategies aimed at large commercial clients, prestigious accounts, and Fortune 500 firms.
• Establish and nurture enduring, executive-level relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, which include RFPs, RFIs, significant partnerships, and multi-year high-value contracts.
• Lead negotiations at a high level and create national account agreements, such as master service agreements and memorandums of understanding.
• Serve as a senior advisor on key construction projects, offering customized solutions that align with Nexii's products, capabilities, and value proposition.
• Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic planning and revenue growth initiatives.
• Design, propose, and execute relationship programs for marquee clients.
• Provide business reviews, trend analyses, revenue forecasts, and reports focused on client relationships.
• Collaborate with design, project management, operations, and technology partnership teams.
• Manage essential internal and external relationships to guarantee an exceptional and consistent client experience.
• Offer leadership, coaching, and mentorship to foster team development.
• Plan, direct, and communicate strategies with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop proposals, deliver impactful presentations, and secure agreements on terms and deliverables throughout partnership development.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships within the construction or building materials sector.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
• Familiarity with sustainable building technologies and standards, such as LEED.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales objectives.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated success in closing large-scale contracts with Fortune 500 companies and major commercial developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building technologies (preferred).
