This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Propel sustainable revenue growth by discovering, nurturing, and finalizing new business opportunities.
• Oversee market research, prospecting, and deal execution processes.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and establish strategic or channel partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling solutions and convert new clients into long-term accounts.
• Manage daily sales operations and ensure order creation aligns with revenue objectives.
• Assist in the development of new services based on client requirements.
• Engage in strategy formulation and M&A due diligence to drive company growth.
• Represent NGS at trade organizations and industry events.
• Execute executive-level negotiations for high-value projects.
• Conduct prospect outreach, secure discovery meetings, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
• Prepare and present customized proposals, quotes, and presentations; negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Monitor pipeline, revenue, and activity metrics in CRM; forecast and report progress towards sales and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with technical SMEs to draft and follow up on proposals, ensuring appropriate standards and pricing are specified.
• Achieve activity targets and log engagements in the CRM platform.
• Generate sales reports and forecasts as needed.
• Mentor existing and prospective sales/business development team members, supporting their growth and development.
• Execute other assigned duties.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience; a proven history in the Inspection, Testing & Maintenance sector is preferred.
• B2B sales experience is essential.
• Demonstrated business development experience with a history of meeting or exceeding new business targets.
• Strong prospecting and networking abilities, including comfort with cold outreach and participation in industry events.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation talents, with the capability to influence senior stakeholders.
• A strategic and analytical mindset to assess markets, prioritize opportunities, and develop data-informed growth strategies.
• A driven, self-motivated salesperson with an entrepreneurial outlook.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills along with outstanding presentation capabilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Lead Service software, and other relevant software.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time within the U.S. and Canada.
