This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create, execute, and uphold marketing and sales strategies aligned with both company and personal goals.
• Ensure the satisfaction of existing referral sources while anticipating their future fleet management requirements.
• Design marketing initiatives and strategies aimed at attracting potential referral sources and clients.
• Identify and cultivate market segments to achieve marketing and sales objectives alongside the Business Development team.
• Discover and engage new prospects to secure new business opportunities.
• Offer business-to-business fleet management solutions, encompassing fleet leasing, service programs, technological options, and fleet consulting.
• Assist commercial clients in acquiring commercial fleet software and services.
• Research and pinpoint potential fleet clients, including service providers, logistics firms, government entities, municipalities, and corporate fleets.
• Generate leads via cold calling, industry events, professional networks, and digital marketing channels.
• Build and maintain client relationships to enhance satisfaction, foster repeat business, and encourage referrals.
• Prepare and present sales pitches effectively.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and service-level agreements.
• Conduct market analysis and keep track of industry trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, operations, Client Partnership Managers, and the Transition Team.
• Market vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel license programs, outsourcing, and additional support services.
• Discuss fleet lifecycle and replacement strategies with prospective clients.
• Arrange meetings with C-suite executives and provide professional presentations.
• Secure long-term commitments from clients to support sustainable growth.
• Assist in client onboarding, including initial product setup and training.
• Deliver marketplace insights and competitive intelligence.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience combination.
• At least 5 years of Sales experience required.
• Must reside in Northern California.
• Experience in the Fleet Leasing Industry is preferred.
• Strong comprehension of the automotive sector, including trends, vehicle types, features, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and solutions is essential.
• Proven success in sales and business development.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills are necessary.
• Solid understanding of and competency in implementing a consultative selling approach.
• Capability to manage onboarding for new fleet customers, including initial product setup and training on Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology, and services.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial aspects of equipment leasing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Active listening skills are important.
• Ability to craft persuasive oral and written proposals that demonstrate the overall impact of Mike Albert solutions.
• Results-oriented and highly innovative in presenting and positioning solutions.
• Skill in analyzing client issues and challenges to devise effective sales and closing strategies.
• Capable of establishing priorities and achieving objectives.
• Effective organizational and time management skills are required.
• Attention to detail in managing contracts, pricing, and client information is crucial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management technology, with a preference for Salesforce.
• Willingness to support up to 50% travel.
