This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Promote the comprehensive array of products and services offered by the Bank.
• Serve as the representative voice for Customers and Advisors.
• Align the needs of Clients and Advisors with appropriate technology, products, and service solutions.
• Build, maintain, and grow advisor/referral relationships within a designated geographic area.
• Conduct regular strategic outreach and meetings in accordance with an annual business plan.
• Enhance the delivery of products, services, and advice while boosting sales efforts.
• Illustrate the value of coordinated Bank products and services in conjunction with advisors’ insurance and financial products.
• Develop, organize, and present proposals, business cases, and case analyses to advisors.
• Share best practices and collaborate with Business Development Managers throughout the organization.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing products and services.
• Collaborate with Manulife wealth, insurance, and group representatives to foster advisor interest in debt management, loan, and deposit solutions.
• Travel within the assigned territory while operating from a home office.
• A university degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or credit is necessary.
• Completion of or progress towards an industry designation such as AMP is preferred.
• Skills in business planning and territory management are essential.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin is mandatory.
• Conversational Cantonese is considered an asset.
• Strong ability to persuade and negotiate through effective consultation and active listening.
• Demonstrated diplomacy and conflict management capabilities.
• Proficient presentation skills for both small and large audiences.
• Familiarity with Manulife Investments and life insurance products is advantageous.
• Capacity to innovate sales strategies, marketing concepts, and product applications.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Understanding of residential and commercial lending policies and practices is necessary.
