This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Formulate and implement a territory sales strategy aimed at generating new business and increasing revenue within the Boston market and its surrounding areas.
• Seek and pursue new business prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, referrals, networking, industry events, and face-to-face outreach.
• Establish and nurture relationships with attorneys, law firms, corporate legal departments, and other influential decision-makers in the territory.
• Identify potential clients and cultivate new relationships while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Represent and promote Magna’s comprehensive range of litigation support services, such as court reporting, record retrieval, jury research and consulting, litigation graphics, trial presentation, language services, investigation services, and service of process.
• Articulate how Magna’s solutions assist clients throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts during client meetings, presentations, and educational discussions.
• Work alongside operations and service delivery teams to ensure a superior client experience.
• Discover opportunities to introduce and cross-sell additional Magna services.
• Participate in industry events, networking functions, bar association meetings, conferences, and client-related activities.
• Keep precise sales activity records, update the sales pipeline, forecast, and maintain opportunity information in the CRM.
• Remain updated on litigation trends, developments in the legal industry, and competitive actions.
• Travel within the territory and stay overnight as required for client meetings and industry events.
• Prior experience in business development, outside sales, prospecting, or a similar client-facing sales role.
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities, building new relationships, and driving new business growth.
• Strong skills in prospecting, consultative selling, relationship management, negotiation, and presentation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-driven, persistent, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and follow-through.
• Capability to manage a geographic sales territory, maintain an active sales pipeline, and pursue revenue objectives.
• Willingness and ability to gain expertise in Magna’s litigation support services and the overall litigation lifecycle.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred: experience in selling professional services to clients in the legal industry.
• Preferred: experience in selling litigation support or similar legal services.
• Preferred: existing connections within the Boston legal community.
• Preferred: understanding of the litigation process and familiarity with plaintiff and defense law firms.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with subject matter experts during intricate sales processes.
