This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive business growth by cultivating strong relationships within the travel agent sector in USCA.
• Implement Key Retail Account strategies designed by the Key Account Team.
• Expand RM business with current retail partners and forge new relationships with travel agencies.
• Develop business through relationship management with retail accounts to achieve and surpass KPI targets.
• Oversee travel agency partnerships and enhance FIT and Groups business.
• Create and execute territory-specific strategies in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Sales.
• Recognize new business development opportunities and assess competitive prospects.
• Design sales initiatives to boost bookings, revenue, and market presence.
• Evaluate territory marketplaces, competition, industry trends, company performance, and economic conditions.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues and Package Groups teams throughout USCA.
• Formulate business plans, sales strategies, budgets, and business cases for targeted trade partners.
• Participate in sales conferences, trade shows, marketplaces, familiarization tours, training sessions, and industry events.
• Create proposals, presentations, and accompanying documents to attract and secure business.
• Accurately forecast revenue and business trends while providing insights on marketplace and competitive dynamics.
• Generate and document sales activities in Salesforce.
• Ensure precise processing of sales information and maintain consistent brand messaging.
• Foster long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate across various departments to uphold company values and support growth objectives.
• Post-secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism sector.
• Preferred 5–10 years of previous sales experience in the travel industry.
• Proven ability to build relationships through in-person, virtual, and telephone communication.
• Strong influencing skills and capacity to cultivate relationships.
• Excellent presentation and training abilities, both in-person and through webinars.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Comprehensive general business knowledge along with strong business judgment and decision-making skills.
• Professional and polished demeanor.
• Ability to customize communications for both internal and external audiences.
• Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Concur, and PowerBI is advantageous.
• Capacity to identify business potential and leverage analytics to reveal sales opportunities.
• Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Up to 50% travel may be necessary.
