This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Cultivate business opportunities by fostering strong relationships with the travel agent sector in USCA.
• Implement Key Retail Account strategies established by the Key Account Team.
• Expand RM business with current retail partners while forging new travel agency connections.
• Drive business growth through relationship management with retail accounts to achieve and surpass KPI objectives.
• Oversee travel agency relationships and enhance FIT and Groups business.
• Develop and implement business development plans tailored to specific territories.
• Spot new business development avenues and boost market penetration.
• Create sales campaigns aimed at increasing bookings and revenue.
• Evaluate marketplace dynamics, competitive landscape, industry trends, company performance, and economic factors.
• Support and reach ambitious brand growth objectives.
• Collaborate with USCA sales team members and Package Groups departments.
• Prepare business plans, sales strategies, budgets, and business proposals for selected trade partners.
• Participate in sales conferences, trade shows, marketplaces, familiarization tours, training sessions, and industry events.
• Draft proposals, presentations, and accompanying documents to secure and finalize business deals.
• Offer insights on marketing and sales programs, strategies, and initiatives.
• Accurately and insightfully forecast revenue and business trends.
• Report on marketplace conditions and competitive activities.
• Analyze competitors and identify sources of competitive advantage.
• Accurately process sales data and maintain sales activity logs in Salesforce.
• Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all materials.
• Identify competitive prospects and devise strategies to enhance market share.
• Foster relationships with managers, employees, customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and product offerings.
• Ensure clients prioritize Armstrong Collective.
• Initiate, build, and sustain long-lasting client relationships.
• Collaborate with the USCA team and other business functions.
• Drive results, encourage teamwork, maintain honesty and integrity, and inspire others.
• Post-secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism sector.
• Preferred 5-10 years of previous sales experience in the travel industry.
• Experience in establishing relationships through in-person, virtual, and phone communications.
• Ability to influence and cultivate relationships effectively.
• Strong presentation and training capabilities, including conducting webinars.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive general business knowledge along with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• A professional and polished demeanor.
• Skill in customizing and directing communications to both internal and external audiences.
• Innovative and resourceful mindset.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical proficiency.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Concur, and PowerBI is advantageous.
• Ability to assess business potential and leverage analytics to identify sales opportunities.
• Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a dependable personal vehicle is required.
• Up to 50% travel may be necessary.
