This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Cultivate business through strong relationships within the travel agent network in USCA.
• Implement Key Retail Account strategies designed by the Key Account Team.
• Expand RM business with current retail collaborators and establish new travel agency partnerships.
• Drive business growth through relationship development with retail accounts to achieve and surpass KPI objectives.
• Oversee travel agency relationships while enhancing FIT and Groups business.
• Develop and implement territory-specific strategies in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Sales.
• Recognize new business development prospects and competitive opportunities.
• Create sales campaigns aimed at boosting bookings, revenue, and market presence.
• Analyze marketplace dynamics, competitors, industry trends, company performance, and economic conditions.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues and Package Groups teams to promote FIT and Groups business.
• Formulate business plans, sales strategies, budgets, and business cases for targeted trade partners.
• Participate in sales conferences, trade shows, marketplaces, familiarization tours, training, and industry events.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and supporting documents to attract and secure business.
• Contribute insights on marketing and sales programs, strategies, and initiatives.
• Accurately forecast revenue and business trends with insight.
• Provide feedback on marketplace conditions and competitive activities.
• Accurately process sales information and document activities in Salesforce.
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging across sales materials.
• Maintain enduring relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry associates.
• Collaborate across USCA and other functional business units.
• Undertake other relevant tasks as assigned.
• Post-secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism sector.
• 5-10 years of prior sales experience in the travel industry is preferred.
• Proven experience in building relationships through face-to-face, virtual, and telephone communication.
• Ability to influence and establish relationships effectively.
• Proficient presentation and training abilities, both in person and through webinars.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive general business knowledge with strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Professional and refined presentation style.
• Skill in tailoring communications for both internal and external audiences.
• Creative and resourceful mindset.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Concur, and PowerBI is an asset.
• Capability to identify business potential and leverage analytics to discover sales opportunities.
• Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a dependable personal vehicle are required.
• Up to 50% travel may be necessary.
