This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve annual sales objectives and revenue goals for designated accounts through proactive sales initiatives and client engagement.
• Cultivate, sustain, and enhance relationships with current and potential pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Formulate and implement account strategies for key clients and strategic partners.
• Provide weekly updates on sales activities and business performance to management.
• Create and execute client call strategies and sales plans.
• Follow up on leads and pinpoint new business prospects.
• Collect and relay market intelligence and competitive insights.
• Showcase and advocate for the capabilities and service offerings of the business unit.
• Identify and communicate cross-selling prospects across different business units.
• Manage customer expectations and support initiatives aimed at customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver integrated solutions for clients.
• Organize and conduct client visits and business discussions.
• Review client quotes and provide constructive feedback to align with commercial goals.
• Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) to keep customer data, sales activities, opportunity management, and pipeline forecasts up to date.
• Oversee sales opportunities and ensure accurate revenue projections.
• Collaborate across various business units to pinpoint and secure multi-service opportunities.
• Assist in the development of proposals and scope negotiations.
• Lead client presentations, business evaluations, and commercial dialogues.
• Analyze industry trends and market dynamics to uncover potential business opportunities.
• Manage strategic accounts and intricate sales projects.
• Provide guidance on requests for proposals (RFPs), pricing, and protocol interpretation.
• Develop long-term strategies for account growth.
• Spearhead negotiations for Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and preferred provider contracts.
• Share best practices and contribute to training and development efforts within the sales team.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling Real World Data (RWD), Real World Evidence (RWE), RWD services, healthcare data solutions, or related offerings directly to pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.
• At least 5 years of experience engaging with mid-level decision makers, executive-level stakeholders, or both within pharmaceutical or biotechnology firms.
• Minimum of 3 years managing strategic accounts, complex sales opportunities, or both.
• At least 3 years of experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems for managing opportunities, accounts, and pipeline forecasting.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, statements of work, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), preferred provider agreements, or similar arrangements.
• Advanced knowledge of the industry.
• Highly consultative approach to client engagement and solution development.
• Ability to identify, nurture, and grow strategic client relationships.
• Capacity to recognize opportunities across multiple business units.
• Proven leadership skills in client-facing settings.
• Proficient in delivering presentations to executive and senior-level stakeholders.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Capability to manage and inspire client-facing teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and business performance management.
• Ability to assess commercial opportunities and support pricing strategies.
• Proficient in managing challenging client, operational, or financial scenarios.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong customer orientation and relationship management abilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation expertise in complex client environments.
• Ability to distinguish service offerings from competitive alternatives.
• Proven track record in acquiring, developing, and maintaining client relationships.

• Ability to manage strategic, domestic, regional, and transatlantic client relationships.
• Approximately 35% travel required, with overnight travel constituting about 50% of total travel.
