This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Acquire new customer logos and expand the LTL portfolio.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new LTL business with minimal account management duties.
• Conduct discovery sessions to comprehend shipper freight profiles, lane structures, service needs, and challenges.
• Present and promote standard, expedited, volume, cross-border, and accessorial-heavy LTL solutions.
• Collaborate with pricing, operations, carrier management, solution engineering, product, and legal departments.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to finalize profitable transactions.
• Foster relationships with decision-makers in transportation, supply chain, and procurement.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting within SFDC/Salesforce.
• Achieve or surpass new-logo revenue and margin objectives.
• Monitor prospecting activities, win rates, and sales-cycle metrics.
• Utilize market intelligence, CRM analytics, supply-chain databases, and internal benchmarks to prioritize target accounts.
• Oversee the entire sales lifecycle from initial contact to contract signature.
• Sustain a robust pipeline through proactive outreach and strategic account targeting.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%.
• Over 7 years of experience in new business acquisition, preferably within the United States ground freight sector, especially LTL.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new-logo customers through data-driven targeting, strategic outreach, and consultative selling.
• Profound knowledge of domestic transportation, encompassing LTL, FTL, Dedicated, Final Mile, and pool point solutions.
• Experience in selling B2B/B2C transportation solutions to shippers.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for prospecting and target identification.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Advanced degrees or certifications such as CSCP or SCPro are advantageous.
