This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in achieving annual growth and business development goals through designated pursuits and specified capture activities.
• Recognize, qualify, and monitor federal and state Health IT opportunities.
• Keep precise opportunity details in the business development pipeline and CRM tools.
• Support and progressively lead capture initiatives for small to medium opportunities.
• Perform market research, customer analysis, competitive evaluations, and opportunity qualification.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Create and implement capture strategies, win plans, call plans, and customer engagement strategies.
• Manage teaming partner identification, outreach, communications, and inputs for teaming agreements.
• Produce and present white papers, capability briefings, and solution presentations.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop customer-aligned solutions.
• Compile opportunity summaries, competitive evaluations, gate review materials, and bid/no-bid recommendations.
• Assist with RFIs, Sources Sought notices, market research requests, and other pre-solicitation activities.
• Engage in proposal development, including content planning, writing, pricing support, reviews, and color team evaluations.
• Aid in oral presentation preparation, rehearsals, and customer demonstrations.
• Track procurement forecasts, acquisition plans, contract vehicles, and solicitation activities.
• Provide updates on capture progress, risks, actions, and decision points.
• Facilitate win/loss reviews, lessons learned, and process enhancements.
• Identify and support organic growth opportunities within current contracts.
• Represent CORMAC at industry events, conferences, networking occasions, and customer interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Three to eight years of experience in federal business development, capture management, proposal management, program management, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of three years of experience in supporting and contributing to federal government procurements and proposal efforts.
• Experience in opportunity qualification, capture planning, customer engagement, and proposal development.
• Proven experience in building relationships with customers, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and federal procurement processes.
• Practical understanding of the federal business development, capture, and proposal lifecycle.
• Capability to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical, operational, proposal, and executive teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM or pipeline management tools.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Experience supporting CMS, AHRQ, CDC, NIH, HHS, VA, or other federal health agencies is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health IT, data analytics, cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, digital services, cybersecurity, program integrity, or related federal markets is preferred.
• Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and multiple-award contract vehicles is preferred.
• Established connections within the federal health community or industry partner ecosystem are preferred.
