This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Assist the PSG Business Development Manager in initiating new customer prospecting efforts within China.
• Develop an understanding of new clients and their markets, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Oversee the execution of all CDA/NDA agreements for China.
• Assess potential business opportunities post-CDA/NDA execution and transfer them to the appropriate Business Development Managers.
• Perform desk research and market mapping to establish and sustain a prospect pipeline.
• Aid in outbound campaigns through emails, calls, and conferences to create and foster leads.
• Organize and support client meetings, teleconferences, and site visits, including preparing briefing materials and follow-up actions.
• Act as the primary contact for prospective clients during the initial stages of business development.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
• Assist with marketing efforts including events, conferences, webinars, and promotional campaigns.
• Contribute to the enhancement of business development processes, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with local business development and marketing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, key account management, or commercial support, ideally in pharma/biotech, CDMO, CRO, or related healthcare services.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
• Experience in the life sciences sector, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical, CDMO, and bioprocessing.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a basic understanding of financial/commercial analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable functioning in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Standard Monday–Friday work schedule.
