This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Conduct research to identify and recommend relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events that align with company objectives.
• Manage event logistics, including registration, travel arrangements, shipping, booth setup, promotional materials, vendor communications, event timelines, and inventory management.
• Represent the company at events, engage with prospects, promote products and services, and capture qualified leads.
• Gather and qualify leads, particularly focusing on facility sales opportunities, and relay them to the Business Development & Sales Specialist.
• Follow up with non-facility contacts after events to cultivate relationships and assist in pipeline development.
• Monitor event ROI and compile recap and post-event reports, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
• Reconcile event expenses, maintain event calendars, and ensure the completion of sponsor deliverables.
• Identify and assess sponsorship opportunities, preparing proposals for internal approval.
• Coordinate sponsorship agreements and deliverables with event organizers to ensure the fulfillment of sponsor commitments.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, sponsors, exhibitors, and industry partners.
• Keep accurate lead records in HubSpot to facilitate handoffs and enhance pipeline visibility.
• Work with marketing to create event-specific collateral and promotional strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of one (1+) year of experience in sales, brand ambassador roles, business development, or event marketing.
• A demonstrated history of generating leads, fostering relationships, and contributing to sales or revenue growth through business development efforts.
• Exceptional project management skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle various events and deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with executives, partners, and prospects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Willingness to travel for events as necessary; estimated travel is around 30%, with potential for increase.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs to assist with event logistics.
• Ability to stand for 4–6 hours at a time.
• Experience with HubSpot and/or relevant certifications are preferred.
