Business Development Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Assist in the market expansion of Bybit Pay throughout LATAM while overseeing the entire growth pipeline.

• Acquire and manage relationships with merchants, payment gateways, fintech partners, Web3 projects, community leaders, and other avenues for growth.

• Lead the complete business development process, which includes market mapping, lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and executing partnerships.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Card, Fiat Channels, Compliance, Payments Ops, and Marketing teams to activate and scale payment use cases.

• Create regional go-to-market strategies and pinpoint high-potential payment corridors for both crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto transactions.

• Support cross-border payment products, encompassing settlement channels, payout solutions, and merchant integrations.

• Deliver market intelligence, partner feedback, and competitive analysis to enhance product direction.

• Represent Bybit at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payments, fintech, PSP, acquiring, merchant growth, or crypto business development.

• Must have long-term overseas work or study experience.

• Strong comprehension of local payment systems, fiat/crypto conversion processes, card programs, and merchant requirements.

• Proven track record of driving regional growth or launching payment products across various markets.

• Ability to work autonomously and excel in fast-paced, high-responsibility settings.

• Proficiency in the local language and strong communication skills in English.

• A well-established network in fintech, Web3, PSPs, acquirers, or merchant ecosystems is highly favored.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to payments and cross-border transactions is preferred.

• Experience working within global remote teams is advantageous.

• Prior experience with crypto exchanges, payment gateways, or card programs is preferred.
