Business Consulting – Procure to Pay (P2P) – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead transformation projects in Procure to Pay for clients, ensuring successful project results.

• Evaluate procurement and accounts payable processes to discover opportunities for enhancements and automation.

• Propel transformation efforts across areas such as requisition management, purchase order processing, invoice management, accounts payable, and vendor relations.

• Conduct workshops engaging stakeholders from procurement, finance, operations, accounts payable, and shared services.

• Outline future-state business processes, operational models, governance frameworks, and technology necessities.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, process diagrams, user stories, testing scenarios, and deployment strategies.

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and adoption of procurement technologies.

• Enhance compliance, automate manual workflows, shorten cycle times, and boost operational efficiency.

• Oversee project risks, dependencies, issue resolution, and communications with executive stakeholders.

• Guide and mentor team members while upholding high standards of delivery quality.

• Aid in business development efforts through proposals, solution presentations, client demonstrations, and cost estimates.

• Collaborate with client teams across various locations and travel to client sites as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Around 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience in Procure to Pay, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Shared Services, Supply Chain Transformation, or Consulting.

• Proven experience in leading or supporting P2P transformation projects.

• Hands-on proficiency with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Zip, Oracle Procurement, or equivalent solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of the requisition-to-payment process flows and their related controls.

• Experience in creating process maps, business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, training materials, and implementation documentation.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and client-facing consulting.

• Willingness and ability to engage directly with clients and travel as needed, with travel requirements up to 60%.

• In-depth knowledge of Procure to Pay processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoice management, accounts payable, and vendor management.

• Experience in designing and enhancing procurement and accounts payable operating models.

• Strong grasp of procurement controls, governance, and compliance standards.

• Capability to translate business needs into scalable, technology-driven solutions.

• Experience in leading cross-functional transformation initiatives that involve procurement, finance, and technology stakeholders.

• Proficiency in developing business cases, process documentation, testing plans, and deployment strategies.
