Business Consulting – Order to Cash, Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead client-facing engagements focused on transforming the Order to Cash process while establishing project objectives, deliverables, and expected outcomes.

• Evaluate existing O2C processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and create future-state operating models.

• Discover enhancement opportunities through automation, orchestration, and artificial intelligence.

• Propel transformation projects related to billing, invoicing, collections, cash application, deductions management, dispute resolution, and revenue accounting.

• Work in tandem with business and technology stakeholders to collect requirements, identify process enhancements, and formulate implementation roadmaps.

• Conduct workshops with finance, accounts receivable, customer service, sales operations, and shared service teams.

• Convert business requirements into functional designs, process flows, user stories, testing scenarios, and deployment plans.

• Assist in system implementation, configuration, testing, and adoption across various O2C technology platforms.

• Identify ways to optimize working capital, expedite cash collection, minimize aging receivables, and improve operational performance.

• Oversee project risks, dependencies, and issue resolutions while keeping client and engagement leadership informed.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, solution demonstrations, estimates, and client presentations.

• Collaborate with client teams across different locations, traveling to client sites as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Operations, Finance Transformation, Shared Services, or Consulting.

• Proven experience in leading or assisting O2C transformation projects involving invoicing, billing, collections, cash application, deductions, and revenue accounting.

• Practical experience with ERP and revenue management platforms such as SAP, HighRadius, Zuora, or comparable systems.

• Familiarity with leading AI platforms and models, particularly in process improvement and insights related to order to cash.

• Strong grasp of end-to-end revenue cycle processes and associated controls.

• Experience in producing process maps, business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, training materials, and implementation documentation.

• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.

• Willingness to engage directly with clients and travel as needed by engagement requirements; travel may be up to 60%.

• Experience in supporting global business services or shared services transformations.

• Background in process automation, AI-enabled finance operations, or intelligent workflow solutions.

• Knowledge of strategies for optimizing working capital and enhancing cash flow.

• Experience with analytics and reporting solutions that support accounts receivable operations.

• Involvement in large-scale ERP or finance transformation initiatives.

• Relevant certifications in SAP, Agile, Project Management, or Finance Transformation (preferably).
