Business Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects and coordinate business analysis initiatives.

• Supervise and manage testing activities.

• Cultivate business relationships and act as the main project liaison for business partners.

• Establish and lead cross-functional teams along with associated resources.

• Plan, design, test, and execute assigned projects and related activities.

• Coordinate, monitor, and provide leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Enhance consulting knowledge and skills relevant to the line of business.

• Formulate and implement strategies and tactics to engage stakeholders and promote organizational and operational changes.

• Develop project task lists, requirements documents, gap analyses, testing matrices, and process flows.

• Assess current processes and devise future-state solutions.

• Specify project roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.

• Manage projects and project-related activities of diverse complexity.

• Create financial forecasts and reconcile project expenses and resources.

• Collaborate with business leaders to formulate business cases, detailing problems, solutions, costs, and benefits.

• Document business requirements, impact assessments, and communication plans.

• Facilitate solution discussions, project meetings, and track action items.

• Define and monitor milestones while maintaining project schedules.

• Identify project risks and create as well as oversee mitigation plans.

• Manage scope, time-to-market, budget, quality, and project commitments.

• Develop testing plans, execute test scripts, and document and report defects.

• Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

• Engage in knowledge transfer activities.

• Build relationships with business leaders and project teams.

• Understand business processes and support overall business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Proven experience in Project Management of complex initiatives.

• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Experience in Organizational Change Management.

• Background in Project Management.

• Leadership experience is required.

• Proficiency in Relationship Management.

• Knowledge of banking or financial services is preferred.

• Understanding of Program/Project management methodologies, Business Analysis practices, or Test Management practices is essential.

• Experience in managing cross-functional relationships.

• Advanced skills in MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.

• Capability to manage cross-functional teams.

• Preferred Project Management Certifications include PgMP, PMP, CSM, or ACP.

• Preferred Business Analysis Certifications include ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP.

• Completion of New Employee Orientation and additional training as specified by the Director of Enterprise Execution is required.

• Annual compliance training is mandatory.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods is required.

• Must effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.

• A secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions is necessary.

• A reliable private internet connection, not reliant on cellular data, is required.

• Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings.
