This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Investigate and analyze complex issues through direct inquiry, research, proofs of concept (POCs), and support tickets with both software and hardware vendors.
• Take the lead in designing business solutions that align with architectural principles and reference architectures, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure alignment with the overall business strategy and offer insights for strategic decision-making.
• Communicate the current operational state (as-is) and contribute to the envisioned future state (to-be) by proposing roadmaps that align with both business and engineering objectives.
• Foster innovation, IT modernization, and simplification of processes.
• Facilitate architecture chapter ceremonies to promote continuous improvement within the Business and Solutions Architect role.
• Assess market solutions, tools, software, and startups by conducting multidisciplinary analyses.
• Manage solution health maps to identify underlying issues and resolve them effectively.
• Document the value streams and business capabilities involved in various initiatives.
• Enhance the efficiency of IT solutions by leveraging existing functionalities.
• Oversee reference architectures from their inception to retirement.
• Engage in software selection processes, evaluating alignment with architectural principles.
• Support initiatives by mapping Building Blocks, events, and the utilization of CADU.
• Resolve action items from the Architecture Forum.
• Address the tribe’s technical debt and transition architectures, prioritizing outstanding items in collaboration with Business and Engineering teams.
• Monitor the Architecture Team Score for the tribe and address the action items identified.
• Respond to requests from Governance and Leadership as necessary.
• Update technical risks and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) when required by Governance.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in English is preferred.
• Familiarity with Systems Architecture, Architecture Patterns, REST, Microservices, Messaging, and both relational and non-relational databases is preferred.
• Awareness of development technologies and current technology trends and standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of Multi-Cloud environments and cloud solution architecture and design, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is preferred.
• Understanding of DevOps and deployment automation tools, such as Jenkins, Git, Chef, Puppet, and Docker, is preferred.
• Experience with systems integration, including APIs and enterprise systems integration, is preferred.
• Knowledge of security practices and the ability to design secure solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with both traditional and Agile methodologies is preferred.
