Business Analyst III – Oracle C2M, CC&B Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver solutions that support the achievement of business objectives

• Evaluate and recommend system solutions for Line of Business and IT divisions

• Serve as a strategic partner and act as a business and technical liaison for the Billing Modernization initiative

• Gather, assess, and translate business requirements into comprehensive requirements and functional specifications

• Conduct feasibility studies, establish project scope, and offer suggestions on alternative solutions, project strategy, and prioritization of deliverables

• Assess business needs, outline detailed requirements, and validate solutions with clients

• Analyze Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), and additional meter-to-cash workflows

• Lead and collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of project functionalities

• Work together with business clients and vendor implementers to develop functional solutions

• Relay IT processes to business clients and vendor partners

• Examine comprehensive business processes and client information needs

• Define and document business requirements for intricate projects

• Assess and document alternatives for complex business challenges

• Identify, propose, and advocate for IT solutions; negotiate requirements and deliverables with various business clients

• Provide expert consulting in information technology to clients

• Create and review design and technical specification documentation

• Coordinate analysis and requirements activities across multiple projects

• Respond promptly to client inquiries or delegate as necessary

• Adhere to SOX and other standard process requirements

• Assist in testing, project management, software development, compliance, recovery, operations, and maintenance tasks

• Prepare and assess test plans and conduct quality reviews of test outcomes

• Mentor entry-level and career-level team members

• Contribute to business cases for complex IT projects and initiatives

• Undertake additional responsibilities, including support for operations and maintenance, as well as testing of critical components of complex applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 7 years of job-related experience with CC&B, or a similar Oracle platform (such as C2M)

• Build networks with senior internal and external personnel within one's area of expertise

• Exhibit sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions

• Exceptional documentation, writing, organizational, and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with SQL scripting and its applications

• Ability to read and produce technical documentation

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

• Must possess the capability to perform office-related tasks, which may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing

• Must be able to navigate within an office environment

• Proficiency in using a computer is required

• Must be able to communicate effectively

• Certain positions may require occasional repetitive motions or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
