Business Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Gather and evaluate customer needs related to network systems, software applications, environmental data, and specialized requirements.

• Conduct discovery meetings with clients and internal Deluxe teams while developing and reviewing the Requirements Document (RD).

• Lead or assist in the creation of the Statement of Work (SOW) to accurately reflect client requirements and generate cost estimates within 10% of actual expenses, not including changes in scope.

• Develop the RD for the comprehensive defined solution, outlining configuration, modifications, and deployment of solutions proposed by Deluxe.

• Update documentation as necessary throughout the discovery phase.

• Specify documentation needs for each project engagement for both the project team and the client.

• Incorporate relevant custom documentation efforts into work estimates and obtain client approvals as needed.

• Coordinate and lead transition meetings with the implementation team to review product setup requirements and ensure a clear understanding of the solution.

• Continue to fulfill a QA role to ensure that solutions are delivered in alignment with the RD.

• Serve as the communication bridge between clients/customers and both technical and administrative teams.

• Raise concerns to the Project Manager, PS leadership, and other key stakeholders.

• Assist the project team in comprehending and revising business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee the development and facilitation of test planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Technical Writing with 3 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 7 years of experience in various financial and/or remittance check processing systems.

• Minimum of two years leading discovery efforts for financial technology projects.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Experience in leading discovery phases, gathering, analyzing, and documenting client requirements for complex multi-solution financial services or product solutions.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Skilled in facilitating client meetings to collect business and technical requirements.

• Expertise in technical writing and creating client-facing business documentation.

• Experience in providing status updates to senior management.

• Ability to act as a liaison between business and IT units.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• CBAP certification is preferred.
