Business Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and document fundamental business requirements and processes, including current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) workflows.

• Assist in formulating basic system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies.

• Convert business needs into user stories and functional specifications.

• Engage in testing application features and functionalities to ensure that solutions align with documented requirements.

• Create and sustain essential technical and functional user documentation.

• Adhere to established business processes, protocols, and quality standards throughout the development and deployment of solutions.

• Support stakeholder and customer expectations, escalating risks or issues to project managers as necessary.

• Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with stakeholders and customers through effective communication and dependable project execution.

• Undertake additional duties and ad hoc support as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• US Citizenship is mandatory for this position.

• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Understanding of how to elicit and document business requirements, including user stories and functional specifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficient and prior experience with Jira.

• Capability to comprehend and document business processes and system workflows.

• Moderate facilitation skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Basic oral and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a structured, team-oriented environment.
