Business Analyst – Health Insurance

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint business challenges and devise effective analytical solutions.

• Design and plan straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system enhancements.

• Propose improvements to support and enhance business operations.

• Collect, analyze, and document intricate business requirements and processes through workshops and interviews.

• Relay requirements to relevant stakeholders.

• Develop complex test case scenarios and oversee business application testing.

• Create business requirements documents and user stories.

• Organize, delegate, and supervise the work of fellow business analysts as necessary.

• Evaluate systems and associated data to uncover actionable insights.

• Aid in providing time estimates for tasks related to projects.

• Revise process and procedural documentation.

• Acquire a foundational understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.

• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases through defect analysis and change management.

• Execute other designated tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

• Previous experience in the health insurance industry is mandatory.

• Experience in Insurtech is preferred.

• Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.

• Familiarity with business analysis principles, including requirement definition, translation into technical solutions, and an Agile approach to prioritizing tasks into epics and sprints.

• Proficient in business analysis skills such as facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within set timeframes.

• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum setting is essential.

• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Technical writing skills are an advantage.
