Business Analyst – Enterprise Performance Management, EPM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements concerning planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting.

• Perform requirement gathering, stakeholder discussions, process analysis, and gap analysis.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in EPM implementation, enhancement, and transformation initiatives.

• Work closely with developers and configuration teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into EPM solutions.

• Create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and test scenarios.

• Aid in data mapping, validation, and integration needs between EPM and source systems.

• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and defect resolution with business and technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Systems Analyst, ideally within Finance/EPM settings.

• Solid understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and management reporting.

• Practical experience with one or more EPM platforms, such as Oracle EPM Cloud / Hyperion.

• Significant experience in requirements gathering and functional documentation.

• Adept understanding of financial data structures, dimensions, hierarchies, and chart of accounts.

• Familiarity with data mapping, reconciliation, and system integrations.

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.

• Experience in UAT/SIT, test case preparation, and defect management.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

• Experience in banking or financial services is a plus.

• Knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, or regulatory reporting is advantageous.

• Experience with Finance transformation or EPM implementation projects is a plus.

• Exposure to ETL/data integration tools and APIs is beneficial.
