Business Analyst – Energy Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate current processes

• Create new processes, such as in BPMN, and ensure alignment with stakeholders

• Develop functional concepts, target processes, and specifications

• Address functional inquiries from the development team

• Organize and lead workshops and alignment meetings

• Monitor outcomes and decisions until completion

• Conduct functional testing and approve implemented features

• Assist in the rollout of new features within the business department

• Create interface designs or clickable prototypes as necessary

• Document processes, interfaces, and decisions

• Proactively initiate improvements to processes, tools, and operational methods

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration, energy economics, or a similar qualification

• Recent graduates with relevant internships or student work experience are encouraged to apply

• Basic experience in requirements management, process analysis, project work, or roles bridging business and IT

• Capability to document intricate relationships clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Technical knowledge of systems, data flows, and interfaces

• Some experience with Jira, Confluence, or Miro is preferred

• Familiarity with the energy sector, smart metering, market communication, or projects related to tenant electricity, PV, or flexibility is advantageous but not mandatory

• Proficient in German at a fluent C2 or native-speaker level

• Good command of written and spoken English
