This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Identify, collect information, plan, and manage sales-oriented communication activities for assigned accounts and contacts.
• Generate new sales opportunities for the Business Development team through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting within Clinical Solutions, Labs, and Biospecimens.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to pinpoint companies for nurtured outreach and the provision of meetings/RFPs.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and offer strategic recommendations.
• Create an annual outreach strategy, reviewed monthly with the line manager and Business Development team, aimed at securing new and repeat business.
• Examine social media, business and financial news, competitors' websites, conferences, communication and marketing activities, as well as company decision-makers and influencers.
• Investigate and assess Precision's markets, competition, product range, and targeted product markets.
• Coordinate the provision of collateral with Marketing teams to bolster sales initiatives.
• Maintain data integrity by updating CRM and Sales Enablement platforms, generating accurate weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Provide insights to the line manager and Business Development leadership regarding company positioning, pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, science, or a business-related field, or equivalent experience in a marketing, communication, business development, or sales environment.
• Strong understanding of the CRO and Specialty Labs market, along with Precision's role in that context.
• At least 6 months of experience within the product/service sales lifecycle, including client identification and prospecting.
• Direct B2B sales experience within the service industry.
• Willingness to engage in domestic and international travel, including overnight stays.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• A strong drive and determination to achieve and surpass targets and quotas.
• Adaptable, professional, motivated, and knowledgeable about the sales cycle.
• Preferred: experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• Capability to work and plan independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Skills in continuous improvement and process efficiency assessment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver formal presentations to scientific, sales, and marketing audiences.
• Willingness to engage in domestic and international travel, including overnight stays.
