This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to pinpoint target companies for strategic outreach and meeting/RFP opportunities.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and provide informed recommendations.
• Create an annual outreach strategy, reviewed on a monthly basis with the line manager and Business Development team, aimed at securing new and repeat business from biotech and pharmaceutical firms.
• Conduct research on social media, business and financial news, competitor websites, conferences, communication, and marketing initiatives, as well as company decision-makers and influencers.
• Investigate and analyze Precision’s markets, competition, product assortment, and designated product markets.
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to produce materials that enhance sales efforts.
• Maintain and update the CRM and Sales Enablement systems to ensure data accuracy and generate precise weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Deliver insights to the line manager and Business Development leadership regarding company positioning, pricing strategies, competitiveness, and market trends.
• Identify new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting for Clinical Solutions, Labs, and Biospecimens.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, science, or business-related field, or equivalent experience in a marketing, communication, business development, or sales environment.
• Strong understanding of the CRO and Specialty Labs market, along with Precision’s role in this context.
• At least 6 months of experience within the product/service sales lifecycle, including client identification and prospecting.
• Direct B2B sales experience in the service sector.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
• Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• A driven individual with the determination to meet and surpass targets and quotas.
• Adaptable, professional, and motivated; possesses a solid understanding of the sales cycle.
• Preferred: experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A mindset geared toward continuous improvement and the capability to evaluate process efficiency.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of delivering formal presentations to scientific, sales, and marketing audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
