Business Analyst – Automation, AI Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various business units throughout the organization to capture current-state processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement and standardization.

• Collect, document, and validate business requirements for initiatives aimed at cross-functional process improvement.

• Evaluate operational data to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for standardization among departments.

• Assist in the prioritization of the enterprise process improvement pipeline in collaboration with leadership.

• Create and uphold enterprise-wide standards, frameworks, playbooks, and documentation for process excellence.

• Ensure that process documentation is up-to-date, clear, and actively utilized across business units.

• Act as a bridge between operations, business units, and other functional teams on enterprise process excellence initiatives.

• Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews across business units to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.

• Work alongside process owners and technology teams to convert improvement opportunities into actionable initiatives.

• Assist in change management and communication planning for enterprise process initiatives.

• Monitor, measure, and report on the efficiency, quality, and cost results of process excellence initiatives.

• Provide leadership with comprehensive visibility into process performance trends and improvement outcomes.

• Stay informed about automation and AI-enabled tools relevant to process improvement and identify potential opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operational excellence.

• Proven experience in process mapping, gathering business requirements, and conducting data analysis.

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with reporting or business intelligence tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering presentations to stakeholders across various departments.

• Capability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and business units.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.

• Experience with supporting organizational change management is preferred.

• General knowledge of automation or AI-enabled tools is preferred; hands-on experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Experience in background screening, HR technology, or the B2B SaaS industry is preferred.
