Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document both business and functional requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to comprehend business and software needs.

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, working meetings, and discussions with stakeholders.

• Create business cases, user stories, use cases, process diagrams, wireframes, test documentation, and other necessary solution documentation.

• Convert stakeholder requirements into clear specifications for developers and testers.

• Assist in software development, testing, validation, and implementation tasks.

• Create and update User Guides, Design Documents, Release Notes, and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Review and refine both technical and business documentation.

• Provide support for COTS products, including SharePoint, Tableau, and Jira.

• Evaluate customer requests, define the scope of solutions, and coordinate with technical teams.

• Oversee multiple projects while effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis or requirements gathering.

• Demonstrated experience in collecting and documenting business requirements within a professional services setting.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Visio for process modeling and documentation.

• Experience in data mapping, data cleansing, and gap analysis techniques.

• Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodologies and their execution.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Secret clearance is required.

• Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or related credentials is preferred.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience in cloud-based software development environments.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Tableau, Jira, or other COTS applications.

• Experience with user stories, use cases, process/system diagrams, wireframes, and test documentation.

• Background in supporting software testing and implementation.

• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
