Junior Business Analyst – Energy Data Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge about, document, and evaluate energy data management processes to identify optimization opportunities through job shadowing, interviews, and practical operational engagement.

• Assist in the development of new or modified energy data management processes and evaluate them in terms of feasibility, effort, cost, and benefits.

• Collaborate with the energy data management team to formulate requirements and support their implementation alongside Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.

• Analyze integrations with software partners such as Mako365 and Aktif, along with external data providers, and aid in the advancement of these interfaces.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for process efficiency, data completeness, and the reliability of market partners and data sources.

• Support the energy data management team during critical bottlenecks in daily operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or vocational training in energy management, business, business informatics, or a related field.

• Experience in process analysis or managing processes and requirements.

• Fundamental understanding of the energy sector.

• Ideally, experience in energy data management or market communication.

• Basic knowledge of market communication software, such as Mako365 or Aktif, or a willingness to learn these tools.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.

• A structured and independent approach to work.

• Proactive, persuasive, and audience-oriented communication skills.

• Proficiency in the German language.
