Business Analyst II, Provider Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide support for business initiatives by conducting data analysis, identifying implementation obstacles, and performing user acceptance testing for new systems.

• Analyze data, user requirements, procedures, and challenges to enhance current processes.

• Conduct thorough analysis on assigned projects, examine discrepancies and root causes, recommend business solutions, and aid in implementation.

• Improve performance management, data quality, validation, automation, and operational reporting associated with new business implementation processes.

• Develop and implement organizational best practices within business applications.

• Facilitate problem-solving and coordination among business units to document findings, address issues, and confirm outcomes.

• Assist in the creation and revision of departmental policies and procedures.

• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Strongly preferred: advanced experience in Excel, including data comparisons, lookups, validation, filtering, and reconciliation.

• Highly valuable: experience in analyzing and reconciling information from multiple data sources and resolving discrepancies through root-cause analysis.

• Preferred experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Query, automation, provider data, or healthcare data.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• 2–4 years of experience in business process or data analysis, preferably within the healthcare sector.

• Project management experience is preferred.
