Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.

• Create User Stories with Given/When/Then Acceptance Criteria for developers and QA teams.

• Examine Figma wireframes and user flows to ensure alignment with requirements and identify any gaps.

• Lead 3 Amigos sessions prior to each sprint.

• Confirm that stories adhere to the Definition of Ready before sprint planning.

• Transfer requirements to development and QA teams while providing support during sprint Q&A sessions.

• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Maintain requirement traceability throughout acceptance testing.

• Serve as a liaison between clients and the internal delivery team.

• Evaluate requests against MVP boundaries and oversee scope changes.

• Suggest phased or simplified alternatives and manage the post-MVP backlog.

• Conduct client walkthroughs, sprint demonstrations, and UAT sessions.

• Generate status updates, decision logs, and records of scope changes.

• Assess deliverables against acceptance criteria and track any defects.

• Identify compliance implications, including CASS, AML, and data privacy considerations.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of BA practices, templates, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on software delivery initiatives.

• Proficient in writing User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria in the Given/When/Then format.

• Solid experience with Agile delivery, including Scrum practices, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Skilled in requirement elicitation through workshops, stakeholder interviews, process analysis, and gap identification.

• Capable of managing and defending scope, negotiating phased alternatives, and documenting decisions effectively.

• Strong communication skills with non-technical clients and cross-functional technical teams.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Figma at the review and annotation level.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

• Ability to independently produce client-facing documentation and present clearly under pressure.
