Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document intricate business requirements.

• Facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide support for internally developed software applications throughout their lifecycle, focusing on requirements management and process enhancement.

• Conduct backlog refinement and prioritize requirements alongside product owners and development teams.

• Employ requirements management, process modeling, and documentation tools to develop actionable solutions.

• Analyze business processes and propose improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure that deliverables are in accordance with Agile/Scrum methodologies and meet organizational objectives.

• Work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a team setting.

• Maintain records and assist in ongoing application re-certification processes.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and end-users.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Generally requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Proven experience supporting software applications throughout their lifecycle.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting complex business requirements.

• Experience in facilitating discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with international trade processes, import/export compliance, or customs-related business functions is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with distributed global teams is preferred.

• An Agile background is preferred.

• Experience with system audits is preferred.
