This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Serve as a customer-facing Business Analyst specializing in Data Exchange within the Customer Data Management Team.
• Engage in a consultative capacity with internal Operations and Distribution partners, customers, and technology partners.
• Independently manage multiple data exchanges utilizing established integration capabilities and tailored solutions.
• Establish data requirements based on customer plan designs, review these requirements with clients, and propose alternatives.
• Provide insights for data corrections to ensure compliance with predefined data accuracy standards.
• Oversee data loading processes into relevant administration systems and facilitate the transition of integrations to production.
• Guide colleagues through complex scenarios and collaborate on comprehensive problem-solving efforts.
• Assist Group Insurance clients in executing both file and non-file integrations, which include SSO and APIs.
• Collaborate with internal partners, customers, and Third-Party Administrators to define, recommend, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct iterative data auditing and testing to ensure completeness and alignment with plan specifics.
• Take part in projects and process enhancement initiatives aimed at improving customer onboarding efficiency.
• Proven experience as a professional in business analysis and data exchange/integration.
• Exceptional communication abilities, including direct engagement with customers and customizing messages to their needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in data integration projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for fostering partnerships with customers, technology partners, TPAs, and internal business teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering results and meeting deadlines within a dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in performing data quality assessments and conducting data testing.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and drive towards solutions.
• Familiarity with Text, CSV/fixed width file formats is essential.
• Expertise in the Compass Administration system is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Group Insurance products is highly desirable.
• Experience working within an agile team is highly advantageous.
• Capability to develop new business processes and enhance existing ones is highly preferred.
• A technical background in Excel/Excel Macros, text file manipulation, and SQL is highly sought after.
• Familiarity with APIs and SSO is highly desired.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
