This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gain insights into the program's current and anticipated technology requirements, as well as stakeholder and Veteran advantages.
• Conduct current-state evaluations, stakeholder interviews, and capability assessments.
• Assist in planning for technology modernization and the decommissioning of legacy systems.
• Create user stories and translate requirements into actionable functionality.
• Examine application and business-domain data needs and business regulations.
• Comprehend end-to-end data processes from source to display across various capability areas.
• Document business capabilities, future processes, existing gaps, and interdependencies.
• Keep records for new feature development and the modernization and retirement of legacy systems.
• Contribute to the design, specifications, and development of products and solutions.
• Produce high-quality client deliverables with ongoing oversight from the team lead.
• Prepare and evaluate solution alternatives in collaboration with the team lead.
• Foster collaborative relationships with clients and the delivery team.
• Sustain positive relationships with clients.
• A bachelor's degree along with 5 years of pertinent experience.
• Alternatively, an associate's degree plus an additional 2 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with an extra 4 years of experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to shift focus between high-priority tasks as necessary.
• Proven leadership in ambiguous scenarios.
• Skill in navigating challenges and consistently completing tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must meet eligibility requirements for obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
• Availability during core business hours from 8am to 5pm ET.
• Preferred: Experience with the WebLGY application for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Preferred: Existing Public Trust clearance from the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal entity.
• Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry.
• Preferred: Experience in implementing Salesforce and/or AWS solutions for the federal government or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Preferred: Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting technology modernization or assessments for legacy system decommissioning.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis, documentation, and process mapping.
• Full-time W2 employment.
• 100% remote work (US-based).
• 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours from 8am to 5pm ET.
