This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Evaluate workflows, operations, and judicial processes in courts to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Record both current and future business processes, functional requirements, and system interactions.
• Convert operational needs into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Conduct data analysis and research to support solution design, configuration, and decision-making processes.
• Engage with customers directly during the discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
• Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews with court staff.
• Offer expert guidance, subject-matter support, and best-practice recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Assist in user acceptance testing, validate system configurations, and support rollout activities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are comprehended and correctly implemented.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation in JIRA.
• Develop process maps, requirements specifications, and training materials.
• Explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide demonstrations and training to clients on the Court Case Management Application.
• Execute other assigned duties.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent amount of relevant experience is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in court operations, case management, or judicial administration.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst position.
• Familiarity with judicial or government software applications.
• Proficient in JIRA or similar tools for creating user stories.
• Experience in supporting software implementations or enterprise system rollouts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-centric attitude.
• In-depth knowledge of court processes and domain-specific terminology.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Highly adaptable and flexible, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong active listening capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Monday, and Confluence.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple internal software applications.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team.
• Proficient in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet for remote work.
• Ability to remain stationary for the majority of the day.
• Capability to constantly operate a computer and office productivity machinery.
