Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and business rules.

• Assist in stakeholder discussions, prioritize requirements, and validate proposed solutions.

• Evaluate business processes, identify gaps, and aid in feasibility, impact, and risk assessments.

• Analyze and model business processes and workflows.

• Create business and functional specifications.

• Assist in backlog preparation and maintain requirements traceability.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and coordination activities.

• Collaborate with the Development team and work closely with a major client's IT department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT along with 9 years of relevant professional experience in the IT field.

• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and business rules.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and modeling business processes and workflows, identifying gaps, and exploring optimization opportunities.

• Proficient in business process modeling using BPMN.

• Skilled in requirements and solution modeling utilizing UML.

• Experienced in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Capable of producing business and functional specifications.

• Experienced in backlog preparation and maintaining requirements traceability.

• Involved in Agile ceremonies and coordination activities.

• Must possess at least one relevant certification: CCBA, CBAP, IIBA-AAC, PMI-PBA, CAP, CBATL, CBPP, CFLBA, or IREB CPRE.

• Strong command of the English language.
